Biography:
Australian Kaden Groves is a sprint specialist who began his career with Mitchelton-Scott after success in the under-23 ranks. A former junior national champion, Groves won the points classification at the Tour of China, Circuit des Ardennes before his entrance to the WorldTour in 2020. He also won stages in the Tour of Qinghai Lake, Tour of Fuzhou, and the Jayco Herald Sun Tour.
His first major success came in 2022 when he won the points classification and one stage at the Volta a Catalunya, and he followed that up with a stage in the Vuelta a España.
He transferred to Alpecin-Deceuninck in 2023 and enjoyed even more success, winning to stages in Catalunya, a stage of the Giro d'Italia and then three stages of the Vuelta and the overall points classification.
In 2024, Groves won three stages of the Vuelta a España and the points classification.
