Tour of Tasmania 2011: Stage 7 Results

Following a much-hyped arrival for their Australian campaign, Team Russia has finally claimed the win everyone was expecting, with Valery Valynin first across the tape in Penguin following a determined attack three kilometres from the finish. The victory was enough to move Valynin from ninth to sixth overall, although he remains 45 seconds off the pace and therefore, likely out of contention.
