The 2018 Pan-American Cyclo-cross Championships will take place November 3 and 4 in Midland, Ontario, at Little Lake Park, home of the 2017 Silver Goose UCI race.
For the first time at the Pan-American Championships, Masters racing will fill the schedule on Saturday, November 3, while the juniors, U23s and elites will race on Sunday, November 4.
The Pan-American Championships took place in Cincinnati for three years from 2014 to 2016 and then moved to Louisville last year. The championships moved out of the US for the first time this year and will return to Canada again next year.
In 2017, US rider Stephen Hyde (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) defended his elite men's title ahead of Tobin Ortenbla (Santa Cruz Factory Racing) and Canadian Michael van den Ham(Garneau-Easton). In the elite women's race, American Katie Compton (KFC Racing-Trek) beat Kaitlin Keough (Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld.com) and Canadian Christel Ferrier Bruneau (Sas Macogep Aquisio)
