Sunweb proved their strength in the team time trial winning the 2018 Ladies Tour of Norway standalone event on August 16. The world champions covered the 24.3km course in 29:53 to take the victory ahead of Mitchelton-Scott by 38 seconds and Cervelo Bigla by 1:09.
Boels Dolmans came in as the favourites after securing a third consecutive title at the PostNord Vargarda WestSweden Team Time Trial a week earlier, but only managed sixth place in Norway.

Ladies Tour of Norway Team Time Trial - Overview
The Team Time Trial was a new addition to the Ladies Tour of Norway. The standalone event was be held on August 16, the day before the separate three-day stage race from August 17-19. Both events are part of the Women's WorldTour, marking the 19th and 20th rounds.
The women's teams will race along a 24.3km course - starting at Kvisler farm, RV21 to Aremark and finish at Fredriksten Fortress. The course is flat at the beginning and will finish on a climb.
