2012 Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne
With Het Nieuwsblad opening the classics season on Saturday, Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne keeps the momentum going with the Belgian cobbled spectacular a sure form indicator for the 'heads of state' of the Belgian season.
Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) appears back to his best, and the former world champion will no doubt be one of the main favourites, but no discount last year's winner Chris Sutton (Sky) or his decorated teammate Mark Cavendish. With wind, rain and a few minor 'bergs' the racing is always tough, and expect this year to be no different.
