GP de Plouay-Lorient Agglomeration Trophee WNT kept its August place on the revised Women's WorldTour calendar and brought an international peloton together as one of the top-tier events on 2020.
The UCI announced the revised-late season calendar in May and the Women's WorldTour.
Briefly cancelled last year, for just four days, organisers later confirmed that one-day race would continue after securing television coverage from France Télévisions.
Lizzie Deignan (Trek-Segafredo) claimed a record third victory in the 2020 GP de Plouay when she beat her fellow Briton Lizzy Banks (Équipe Paule Ka) in a two-up sprint at the end of a rain-sodden race in Brittany.
Chiara Consonni (Valcar - Travel & Service) won the bunch sprint for third ahead of Marta Bastianelli (Alé BTC Ljubljana), a little over a minute down on Deignan and Banks.
The women raced 100km on a course that had significant changes to the previous years. They competed one large loop followed by four shorter 13km circuits with three climbs, the final climb located just 2km from the finish in Plouay.
