Unique women's cycling camp hosted by Dede Barry and Mari Holden

Are you seeking the perfect Christmas gift for your favourite woman cyclist? Well, Olympic medallists and former World Champions, Dede Barry and Mari Holden, just may have the answer. Barry and Holden have teamed with event organizers g4 to create a unique Women's Training Camp and Spa: Ride and Rejuvenation event, a women's only training camp and spa getaway from February 21 to 25, 2007.

Dede Barry told Cyclingnews "This camp was created in the spirit of what Mari and I have a passion for: training and riding our bikes, relaxing at the spa, socializing, eating great food and drinking great wine. We look forward to showing our guests at the Women's Training Camp and Spa-Ride and Rejuvenation event the unmatched beauty of the Santa Ynez Valley.

"We'll be together on the bike to providing valuable training advice which will help them to improve as cyclists. Guests at the event will also get to watch watch a stage of the Tour of California, and then get to meet the T-Mobile professional team. At the end of the day we can all enjoy being pampered at the spa, and enjoy a nice meal with some fantastic regional wine and food."

Created specifically for the female cyclist, g4's Women's Training Camp and Spa: Ride and Rejuvenation event features custom designed training rides through the beautiful Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez area and speciality training seminars led by Dede and Mari; spa services and delicious cuisine and wines of the region. Guests will have an exclusive opportunity to ride custom Giant for Women bikes, meet the T-Mobile men's team and watch stage 5 of the Tour of California from an exclusive VIP area.

The event features four days of riding with Mari Holden and Dede Barry, four nights at Fess Parkers' Wine Country Inn and Spa in Los Olivos. Other cool features are that all meals and rest stop snacks are included, as well as Custom Camp Clothing, daily professional soigneur services and Spa Services at Fess Parkers' Wine Country Inn and Spa. Along with the Giant bikes, there will be pre-built PowerTap wheels and wireless computers provided for use and specialty training seminars created for women, Training Peaks and PowerTap.
