Athletes and Sponsors for the 2005 Tour of Shenandoah Bicycle Race are announced.
The third annual edition of the Tour of Shenandoah will take place April 27 - May 1 in central Virginia. Among the riders signed up for the six-stage race are 2002 USPRO road race champion Chann McRae (TargeTraining), his team-mate Justin Spinelli and U.S. national team member Jeremiah Bishop (Trek/VW), better known as a mountain bike racer. Also returning to Virginia to participate is a strong TIAA/CREF team and the Mid-Atlantic's own professional cycling team, Snow Valley presented by Seal-On. Defending champion Scottie Weiss is expected to return with his new Hincapie Sportswear teammates. Weiss has won the two previous editions of the Tour of Shenandoah.
