A few directeur sportifs have been asked to give their prognostics on who will end up on the podium in Meerbeke on Sunday afternoon. Wilfried Peeters (Quick.Step): "It will be a hard, nervous race because of the wind. In the end the strongest will come to the front. And Tom wins."

Frans Maassen (Rabobank): "With a lead group of about five men they'll ride away in the finale. They'll stay together and Boonen will win the sprint."
