Storck reveal Fascenario.3 Aston Martin Edition
A few updates for the ultra rare, ultra-expensive superbike

British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin commissioned Storck Bicycles founder Markus Storck to help develop a series of Aston Martin cars highlighting carbon fiber. During that collaboration, the two companies decided to combine for a special bicycle project. This is how the latest version of the £15,777 Fascenario.3 Aston Martin Edition came to be.
"It was clear from the outset how the design, engineering and passion of the two brands could combine" said Aston Martin’s EVP & Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman "and what we’ve ended up with is a beautiful bicycle that reflects not only many of the key technical aspects of an Aston Martin, but also our ethos of excellence."
The paint supposedly shifts from green to gray to silver. The color is dubbed Argentum Nero
Supercars and superbikes share a lot
The crossover between the upper echelon of cars and bikes is undeniable. The most obvious shared feature is the use of carbon fiber. In both applications, it's prized for its strength, low weight and ride-tuning capabilities.
Aerodynamics also plays a huge role for both machines. Smoothing the air flow from the front through to the back is something both bikes and cars attempt to figure out. To this end, the fork on the Storck appears bow-legged to supposedly minimize aero drag.
The frame is said to weigh 770g, complete bikes are a claimed 5.9kg with a SRAM eTap group

Even the SRAM Red eTap wireless electronic shifting is similar to that of the supercar's steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Hitting the right lever grabs a higher gear, the left lever a lower ratio, the same as an Aston Martin gearbox.
The latest updates
Storck did offer 77 versions of its previous Aston Martin bike last year. Since that time, a few updates have been introduced including a stiffer bottom bracket, THM's latest generation Fibula caliper brakes and Pirelli's new to the bike market P Zero Velotires.
