Six Day Derby at Forest City velodrome

It's been 35 years since the last Six Day Team Race in Ontario, but riders are ready to get under way again after practising for months. This Friday, October 21 at 7 pm, will be the first night of the Sox Day Derby at the Forest City Velodrome.

Each night of racing will see 3-30 minute team races, with some points sprints and the crowd favourite "Devil" also featured. In addition to the main event, the "A" Madison, there will be racing with the newer riders at the Velodrome taking part in the "AA" event. The Velo-Kids and some London Track League racers will also participate.

Local London racers, John Craig Jr, Jean Bertrand "Bermuda", Dave "No Hands" St James will all be competing. The teams will be all local Ontario riders, for many of which this will be their first Six Day event.
