Peter Sagan and eyewear specialists 100% have launched the Glendale sunglasses, a professional level pair of sunglasses but with a vintage look inspired by Americana.
A large, French-manufactured lens is paired with a minimalist frame from Italy, combining for a wide and unobstructed field of vision.
The sunglasses are available in a range of frame colours and lens options, with each pair of sunglasses also provided with a clear lens option alongside an alternative fit nosepiece.
The rubber nosepiece and temple tips can bend to offer a secure fit on a range of face shapes.
In a press release, Peter Sagan said: "I have very little time in my life for anything outside of training, media work and racing. But two years ago, when I decided to join forces with the guys at 100%, we got to spend some good relaxing time together in Southern California.
"Amongst other things, I remember we instantly clicked on our shared love of vintage design and American vintage muscle cars.

"Sparks quickly happened and together with the creative team of Jerome and Marc, we went to work on this very special concept that would bridge the gap between one of my life passions and my everyday racing. I was so excited!"
Two vents on the bottom edge of the sunglasses will improve airflow between the lenses and face, reducing the risk of lenses fogging up. The lenses on the 100% Glendale also have a scratch resistant coating and a 'Hydrolio' treatment to repel dirt, water and oil.
Marc Blanchard, creative director at 100% added: "Peter is so fun. He doesn't impose limits on imagination at all. But real life and especially competitive cycling provide a lot of constraints.
"We had to ensure we could deliver a unique blend of vintage-modern Americana design while continuing to include all the latest eyewear technology we are already known for."
Alongside the spare clear lens and nosepiece, the 100% Glendale sunglasses are supplied with a microfibre cleaning cloth and a vintage style case, which accommodates the sunglasses and spare lens.
