The Midwest Fat Tire Championship Series announced an expanded schedule for 2009, a result of merging with the St. Louis series to bring a true state-wide series to Missouri. Two endurance events will be included with the normal cross country races: the Tall Oak Challenge six hour race in Jefferson City and the Berryman Epic, a 60 mile race covering the Berryman and Ozark Trail in southeast Missouri.
