Mario Cipollini (Liquigas-Bianchi) will be forced to miss this Saturday's Trofeo Luis Puig due to illness, and his participation in the Vuelta Valenciana is not certain. Cipollini has laryngitis and doesn't want to risk getting bronchitis. If his condition does not improve in next days, his team says that he will have to renounce the Vuelta Valenciana as well.
