ANT+ compatibility for Look Kéo Power in 2016
Pedal-based power meters available in January, existing units will be upgraded

Long before Garmin Vector and PowerTap P1, Look had a pedal-based power meter called the Look Kéo Power. One major obstacle for widespread acceptance, however, was the lack of compatibility with standard cycling computers. That will soon change.
As part of a partnership with Polar, the Look Kéo Power only worked with Polar computers and then, more recently, with the rare computers that use Bluetooth Smart.
In January, new Look Kéo Power pedals will come with Bluetooth Smart and the ANT+ wireless protocol, finally making them compatible with Garmins and other regular bike computers.
A Look Kéo Power app allows for quick system checks and calibration via Bluetooth, but the big news is the ANT+ compatibility
The new units will be available for the current price of €1,499 for a dual-meter set and €899 for a pair of pedals with only one meter. US, UK and Australian pricing was not immediately available.
Notably, for riders who already have a set of Look Kéo Power pedals, Look will upgrade their sets with new firmware and new pedal bodies.

The Look Kéo Power pedals have pod extensions similar to Garmin Vector, with dual-LED indicators. The units are rechargeable with a micro USB cable.
