Cadel Evans is set to get his season back-on-track at the Vuelta a España. A strong performance at the Spanish race will all but banish the memory of this year's Tour de France. Signs were good early on as Evans defended a position close to the top of the general classification through the first days of the Vuelta.
As with all the favorites at this year's Vuelta, the second week will show whether the Australian has put the pieces together to complete a victorious close to his season. Two years on from a fourth place finish overall in 2007, this image gallery will capture the action as Evans aims for the top step in Madrid.
