It's hard to believe it has been four years since Thor Hushovd won his first and, to date, only green jersey.
The Norwegian is well on his way to doing it yet again this year. His traditional rival in the points classification, Robbie McEwen, isn't racing this year and last year's winner, Oscar Freire, hasn't shown anywhere near the same form.
But if Hushovd can hold on to the jersey all the way to Paris, he will have done so in front of Mark Cavendish. The latter may have blitzed four stages so far, but Hushovd has a stage win of his own and a points tally that demonstrates his consistency.
