Tech news: K-Edge announces new mount for Garmin Edge computers
It's not cheap but the all-aluminium construction comes with confidence

K-Edge - makers of those popular chain catchers and the trick Ki2 Shimano Di2 mountain bike conversion kit - has just announced a new handlebar mount for use with Garmin Edge 200, 500, and 800 computers.
K-Edge's new mount places the computer ahead of the bar and in-line with the stem for a sleeker appearance and more direct line-of-sight. The all-aluminum construction is expected to be sturdy and durable, plus the extension length is also adjustable depending on computer and stem model.
The new mount is far from cheap - retail price is US$50 - but buyers will get high-quality machined aluminum construction made in the US, a trio of anodized finishes, a lifetime guarantee, and a "definitive" and "reassuring" click that "gives the user the confidence to focus on the ride, not their computer mount."
Claimed weight is 30g and the new mount is available immediately.
