Elite Avanti: A feature-filled, top-level smart trainer at a reduced price
Make indoor training rewardable with the Avanti, available for £749
Elite have long been known for their high-quality indoor cycling trainers and the Italian company is continuing that tradition with the new Elite Avanti smart trainer.
The Elite Avanti is a new offering, bringing you the same top-tier features at an unmatched price, £300-400 lower than top-of-the-range trainers usually set you back. The Avanti, priced at £749, benefits all types of cyclists, whatever you are – from dedicated road cyclists hoping to maximise their off-season performance to cyclists who want to stick to their training schedules through the winter rain and cold, and more.
If you don't want to miss a day on the bike or simply just want to avoid the harsh winter weather, then the Avanti has a range of useful, accurate and convenient features to make indoor training rewarding rather than merely bearable, keeping you fit and active throughout the year.
Unlike other smart trainers in the £1,000+ range, the Elite Avanti packs the same advanced features for just £749.
The Avanti can simulate steep inclines up to 18% gradients, letting you ride on the most challenging of climbs and really test your legs. The ±1% power meter means that you'll enjoy accurate readings and reliably log all of your training and plans, too.
Further realism comes via Natural Motion Flex Feet, which features a 4.5-degree tilt – a feature only previously found on Elite's top-tier Justo 2 trainer. These Flex Feet mimic the sway of a bike as you ride outdoors, adjusting to your riding style. These can also be swapped with 7-degree Flex Feet for even more movement as you ride, available for purchase separately.
The Easy Start feature means you can get going quickly after short stops, letting you resume intervals as fast as you want to. Elsewhere, an adapter storage drawer is on hand to keep all of your adapters organised and on-hand, while the Avanti also has a range of connectivity and integration options, too.
The Avanti's Seamless Connectivity further enhances your training experience, with WiFi, Bluetooth, and ANT+ allowing effortless synchronisation with your favourite training apps. Dual Bluetooth channels allow you to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, a feature which will come in handy for an Apple TV and dual-device users out there.
Shimano Di2 integration makes riding even more convenient, letting you control resistance levels or pause with your electronic shifters.
Elsewhere, the Avanti's 10Hz Data Transfer ensures that you enjoy smooth, real-time performance data without any lag – ideal for those intense indoor training sessions. Heart rate monitor and cadence sensor sync are also included.
For cyclists of all levels – whether you're a casual rider aiming to stay fit, or a serious racer sticking to a rigorous training plan – the new Elite Avanti offers high-quality experience at unparalleled value.
Packed with features offering convenience, accuracy, comfort, and realism, as well as offering a range of seamless and reliable connectivity options, the Avanti is designed to cover all the bases – and then some – at a price well below the norm.
