Two more first-category climbs are on the itinerary as the race heads into the province of Granada to dispute the second of three stages in the Andalusian mountains. The first category Puerto de Monachil at 1510 metres has sections of 12 and 13 percent before a fast 20 kilometre descent to the beautiful Moorish city of Granada.
