5lb/6.8kg women's specific race rig

At the USA Cycling national championships July 4 and 5, 21-year-old Katie Antonneau won both the road race and the U23 time trial aboard Felt race bikes. Here we take a look at the Felt ZW1 road machine, which tips the scales at 15lb/6.8kg.
In May, Antonneau (Exergy-Twenty16) finished 14th and 23rd at the US pro time trial and road championships, respectively.
Standing just under 5-foot-2 (1.57m), Antonneau rides a size small in the women's ZW series with a 70mm stem and compact cranks. Felt sells the ZW line in four sizes: petite, small, medium and tall. Felt says the ZW frames fit women from as short as 4-foot-9 (1.4m) in the 42cm petite, up to 5-foot-11 (1.8m) in the 50cm tall.
About half the Exergry-TWENTY16 women's pro team uses the ZW women's bikes, while the rest use Felt's standard F series race bikes.
While the team's ZW1 is sold as a frameset only, there are seven other ZW frames with less expensive carbon fiber that come as complete bikes.
The ZW1 uses Felt's UHC Ultimate + Nano MMC carbon fiber frame, which Felt says weighs 900g for the frame. The BB30 shell and dropouts — traditionally aluminum on carbon frames — are also made of carbon fiber.
